Check out my first strawberries! I took a clipping from another strawberry plant, rooted it and then re-potted it. I put this organic fertilizer in there called: E. B. Stone Organics – Tomato & Vegetable Food The plant seems to love it…
I then put it on my front balcony which has direct sunlight most of the day. Strawberry plants need lots of sun…you’ll see them along the 5/405 freeways in Orange county during strawberry season…they’re out in the sun all day.
I don’t water mine everyday unless it needs it…like when it’s really hot…as you can see by the pics, the plant is loving it’s home!
Anyway, check out the pics…click on them to see the larger version.

Strawberry Blossom Pics – Strawberries in Bloom
Monday, June 7th, 2010Jesus Christ Second Coming
Monday, January 25th, 2010I was told by my cleaning lady (who isn’t Catholic or Christian) that I looked like “Jesus Christ” in a picture I showed her. The funny thing is, she thought I looked like a guy that neither of us believe existed…not in the way that we’ve been taught to believe anyway…personally, I actually believe that “Jesus Christ” is a concept and not an actual human being…it is a good concept, unfortunately it has been fucked up by organized religious cults liked the catholic church.

I say cult because how is it possible that any man can change the “word of ‘G’od”…it’s a marketing ploy that’s how…there was a line in the movie Dogma…the late great George Carlin said when speaking about the cigarette industry marketing to young children: “If only we could get their numbers…”. That was dead on accurate…they change things around in order to keep up with the times, but still claim that it’s the word of god…anyway…I just watched Religulous…so you can see how something like media can influence a person’s thoughts…or in this case infuriate a person that already believes that the whole thing is a sham of a half scam of a full mochery
I felt the movie was right on! So many people are taken in and live their lives in a hypocritical way…which to me is the worst thing that anyone could do!
How many of you reading this consider yourself a good (insert religion here)? How many of you actually live the life that you’re supposedly supposed to live?? Do you actually “love thy neighbor”? Do you “turn the other cheek”? Basically are you a good enough human being that you will actually help somebody in need…like that guy standing at the end of the freeway offramp asking for your spare change? If you give that person a buck, or the change in your pocket, is your life going to be any worse than it already is??
The good human would give that buck or change and not care what the person receiving it does with it…the fact is, you made that person happy by doing something that WILL NOT affect your life negatively whatsoever! It can only affect you in a positive way! My point is, do you practice what you preach?
Haiti Relief Fund
Thursday, January 14th, 2010The Red Cross has set up a texting donation system to send a $10 donation to help the relief efforts in haitia after that 7.0 earthquake yesterday.
If to text the word Haiti to 90999 it will charge $10 to your cell bill…you can read more about it here, because you should never believe something like this that you’ve read on a blog unless you trust the person writing it and/or know the person.

My Cat Loves Cigars
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010I discovered this by accident a couple years ago…I think I was putting some cigars in my humidor and dropped one, Weetas was there hanging out with me, curious as to what I was doing as always…anyway, she got a wiff of the cigar and started rubbing all over it and acted like it was catnip. She even tries to start licking them…pretty funny.
Now whenever I open my humidor she comes running…even when I try to do it quietly…she’s locked on to that sound. Anyway…the reason why my camera work isn’t so great is because my right arm is in a sling, so I have to hold the camera and the cigar with the same hand.
Here’s a better video:

Rainbow and First Snow the Day After
Wednesday, December 9th, 2009These pics again were taken with my Blackberry, the pics of the Rainbow were taken when I was driving up the street going to the hardware store, it had been raining that day. When I got to the hardware store I took the pics of the sky…the clouds looked amazing.
The next day, as usual in California when it rains, the sky was clear as a bell and we had gotten snow in the local mountains…I was driving up the street to recycle some bottles, as everyone should, and saw the snow on the mountain…I had to stop and get take a pic of the snow along side the Palm Tree.
